The adventure I've always dreamed of taking... I'm taking it. A motorcycle tour throughout the United States and Canada, camping the entire way. 12,000 miles of riding. Almost 100 days of camping.

My Story

Beginning April of 2011. I will be riding my motorcycle throughout North America visiting all of this coolest cities and National parks I have yet to see. Austin Texas, Carlsbad Caverns, the Grand Canyon, Zion, Moab, the Rockies, Yellowstone, Glacier, Banff, the Great Lakes and many other great parks and towns along the way. It is primarily a hiking and camping trip, so I will be camping out the entire way using a Hammock and Tent, and hiking through some of the most beautiful terrain in North America. I will post pictures and videos along the way.

Roky Erickson : Forever







This song provokes so much thought for me.  I'm listening to this just wondering how alone one gets while on the road.  Night after night exploring the country on my own path.  I have had many great people shape, mold, guide, and raise me into the person I am today.  Shown me the way.  We get one life, so I am out this summer to soak in as much as I can of this continent.  The more technology, and social networking pries into our lives, we lose more of our own unique thought processes.  Advertisements, iPhone Apps, Facebook, friends, family... even this blog suggests, tells, plants ideas for what we think and do.  I'm going to be alone for three months with God and my mind forming the direction for the rest of my life.  We'll see what we end up with... :)
